The installation makes use of the duration of the solo exhibition Lost and Found at the Experimenter gallery in Kolkata to highlight the conceptual significance of time in her work. An Indian weighing scale is balanced exactly with salt on the one side and sand on the other, as it sits in the center of the gallery. Over the duration of the course of the exhibition, it changes its balance due to the humidity of the air absorbed through the salt. The increasing weight of the salt lifts the sand. This installation is an allusion to the history of decolonialization in India after the humanitay disaster that occured in the end of the 19th century under colonial government.
